The portal appears out of nowhere. It’s a giant, opposing mass that, even though it obviously doesn't belong, seems to draw you in as though it’s meant just for you. You have two options; you can walk into it of your own violation, or be forcibly dragged into the unknown. Either way, you end up speeding through an endless void.

“It works!”

You hear the voice from somewhere in the distance and you lurch towards it, tumbling out into a brightly colored, unfamiliar room. The trip leaves you feeling woozy, making the world seem like a kaleidoscopic blur. Someone approaches, offering a hand to help you to your feet before moving on to someone near you. When your vision finally clears, you see Peppermint Butler stepping away from the last traveler, moving to Princess Bubblegum’s side as she smiles and waves to the small gathering of new-comers.

“Welcome, travelers! Good, you all seem to have arrived in one piece, so please do not be alarmed by the sudden change in scenery. I can assure you that everything is going as planned. Now, I’m sure you all must be very confused, so let the questions commence! ”

[Well. This isn't the first time Dipper's had to pick himself up after speeding through an endless void across time and space to goodness knows where. Other dimensions....maybe not quite so much, but he's suffered through worse.

The head rush he's suffering causes him to stand there for a moment with his head in his hands, the room still spinning slightly in a blur of objects and colors. Things begin to clear up just about the time Princess Bubblegum begins speaking, though he only fully catches the end of what she says.

Questions? Well you don't have to ask him twice.

Dipper cautiously steps a bit closer- still a little wobbly- and looks up at the Princess. Waaay up. If he ever felt like he was unfairly short before, he's sure feeling it now. Though the fact that she's pink and smells oddly of bubblegum should be alarming to most, Dipper doesn't even seem phased. More like mildly surprised.]

E-excuse me, uh....miss? ...What exactly is going on here?

Oh, it's simple really. I just re-calibrated this. [ She waves the rather bulky bubble creator before continuing. ] I figured out a way to stabilize it's four-dimensional bubbles, so they could act as a rift between dimensions.

I was hoping to learn about some of the different universes out there.

[Dale Cooper found it infinitely harder to process the world around him. Upon recovering from his sudden voyage through the vast emptiness, he slowly pulled himself from the ground.

The first thing he noticed was how... normal? Is that the word he was looking for? After so long, the colors of the Black Lodge and the Red Room seemed almost natural. The vibrant world around him almost looked like a dream.

The second thing he noticed was solidity. He was solid again.

Finally, and most importantly he listened to the words of the lady smelled of bubblegum. Gum, very important.]

And these bubbles pulled us out of our universe into this one?

[radscience]

Precisely! [ She nods, turning her attention from Dipper to Dale. ] I would have sent word before pulling you all through, but I wasn't sure the dimensional rifts would work as well as they did.

....So wait you....brought us here on purpose?

[He says us because he's just now begun to vaguely notice people around him, but he's too concentrated on question asking to really see who they are.]

[Ales has been listening intently, and he raises his hand to catch her attention.]

Another estionquay! How long are you planning on keeping us here? Not to get in the way of progress, this all sounds very interesting, but I was in the middle of something...

I did. But don't worry, you guys wont be staying for very long. [ She's not about to go around kidnapping a bunch of people for science, that would be like Ice King levels of rude. ]

Hmmm. And why are we here?

[Not that he's complaining, mind you. This could have gone much worse.]

Oh, it won't be long at all. There are a few things I need to do before I can send you all back, of course, and I will be hosting a party in your honor, but you should all be able to return by tomorrow morning.

[radscience]

I'm curious as to what other kinds of worlds are out there. [ For science reasons, mostly. It would be an interesting to study the differences between worlds, especially if things are vastly different when compared with Ooo. ]

I was hoping to use the dimensional rifts myself, but it seemed inadvisable given I had no way of knowing what was on the other side. Bringing you all here was the safest alternative, and I'm hoping I'll be able to learn about your worlds through you.

[He mulls it over, loosening up considerably.]
Well.. when you put it that way, it doesn't sound so bad! I could use a vacation!

[ It doesn't take her long to realize something is wrong. For one, the sound of water is gone, replaced by unfamiliar voices and a ground with an unnatural, grainy texture. It stumps her, and at first she attributes it all to the dizzying sensation that accompanied her arrival, but once it passes and she's still unable to sense the vibrations like she usually does? Well, she can't help but wonder just what the heck is going on. It wasn't wood, or any stone tile she was familiar with, so what was it? And why does everything smell like sugar?

Without paying anyone any attention, and shrugging off any attempt to stop her, Toph storms from the room as quickly and loudly as she can. (but with some difficulty, given her inability to sense where anything is.) She eventually finds herself outside, though much to her annoyance, the chocolate in the ground underneath the Candy Kingdom just proves to block her Earthbending further. ]

What is wrong with this place!?

[ She stays there for a while, and anyone walking by will just see a blind girl doing some form of martial arts. She seems to get more and more frustrated as time goes on, though, and finally she stops, shouting as she kicks up a clump of dirt in frustration. ]

So you're sayin' you used us as the test subjects! Guess we're lucky it worked..

[That's kind of a harsh way of putting it, but he's not upset. This is a very interesting experiment she's put together.]

But hey, no sweat! I'd be willing to help out with this.

[The boy pauses, frowning. So that must mean she already has a way home set up for them. That would put anyone else at ease, but Dipper's still skeptical. He folds his arms and glances back up at the Princess, continuing.]

....So uuuh....who are you, exactly?

[tibetanpeople]

It does sound like a worthwhile adventure...

[But he does have a personal interest in this...]

And you think you can get us all home? Or even send us somewhere else if we wanted?

[bedazzling]

[Contrary to what most of the newcomers to Ooo felt about the situation, Mabel found herself enjoying her new surroundings and was especially intrigued by the Candy Kingdom. It was as if her dreams had come true: an entire land made up of sweets and other sugary delicacies... and the citizens that lived there were the absolute cutest! Whilst exploration was most certainly on her mental to-do list, she didn't think there would be much of a problem if she lingered around in the Candy Kingdom for a few days.

As she passes by, the girl's strange motions grab her attention and hold it for quite a while, actually. She hasn't really seen martial arts, let alone someone performing them in real life, so she stands there in a mixture of confusion and amusement until her interest finally fades when the other stops, only to scream and kick up dirt in a bout of anger. Mabel takes that as her cue to step forward and tilt her head to the side as she stares at the other girl questioningly.]

What's the matter? Something wrong?

[Out of the handful of Ooo's new arrivals, there remains one who has yet to make himself known.
He takes the form of a shadow, staying just out of sight from everyone else at the party... as he observes and listens to the others as they ask their royal hostess how, and why, they've suddenly been brought to this unfamiliar world.
If you manage to catch any glimpse of him, it's certainly out of corner of your eye, for barely a split second... probably leaving you to wonder if you even saw anything at all.]

[Whoa, no wings. Finally those wings were gone. But, that didn't mean what he hoped it would mean. He's not home. He's not in Luceti. He's somewhere else.

So, about a hundred questions have already come to mind and he turns to the teenager...who is surprisingly very pink offering to answer the questions.

He can already answer a couple of them himself. This girl was the reason he was here, why these people were here.

Now was she evil or not. He's not sure. She's offering to answer questions so she can't be totally bad?

In either case he's already got his hand on his sword just if things look like this girls intentions aren't as pure. He won't draw it yet though.]

Why'd you bring us here? How'd you do it?

[radscience]

I am Princess Bubblegum, ruler of the Candy Kingdom. [ There's a big, sweeping gesture at the second part, to indicate that the Candy kingdom is where they all are. ]

I only ask that Cipher doesn't make Henry's brain a puddle.

[Henry's looking around the castle now having spoken to the Princess, but, his attention is caught by a moving shadow.]

Huh?

[He moves over to the corner where he had seen it and looks curiously at it.]

[Ok, so Dipper's suspicions have been confirmed, after seeing the Princess and Peppermint Butler up close, as well as taking a moment to get a better look at everything around him.

Man, he's never going to be able to get Mabel home from this place. Speaking of Mabel, he hasn't seen her since they ended up here, so he can only hope she didn't wander off in a candy induced daze.]

Wow, so...so you mean to tell me this entire Kingdom is actually made out of candy?

[radscience]

[ She smiles at Ales, not really contradicting the first part, because really, it was true. They had basically been test subjects for the experiment, not that she had thought anything would go wrong. She just hadn't want to end up somewhere she couldn't get back from. ] Wonderful! I really appreciate this, it will be a great help to my research.

[ Then she turns to Dale with a nod. ]

Of course. I wouldn't have brought you all here if I wasn't able to send you back. As for sending you elsewhere, well, it would take a little doing, but I could certainly give it a try.
