The portal appears out of nowhere. It’s a giant, opposing mass that, even though it obviously doesn't belong, seems to draw you in as though it’s meant just for you. You have two options; you can walk into it of your own violation, or be forcibly dragged into the unknown. Either way, you end up speeding through an endless void.

“It works!”

You hear the voice from somewhere in the distance and you lurch towards it, tumbling out into a brightly colored, unfamiliar room. The trip leaves you feeling woozy, making the world seem like a kaleidoscopic blur. Someone approaches, offering a hand to help you to your feet before moving on to someone near you. When your vision finally clears, you see Peppermint Butler stepping away from the last traveler, moving to Princess Bubblegum’s side as she smiles and waves to the small gathering of new-comers.

“Welcome, travelers! Good, you all seem to have arrived in one piece, so please do not be alarmed by the sudden change in scenery. I can assure you that everything is going as planned. Now, I’m sure you all must be very confused, so let the questions commence! ”

I did. But don't worry, you guys wont be staying for very long. [ She's not about to go around kidnapping a bunch of people for science, that would be like Ice King levels of rude. ]

Hmmm. And why are we here?

[Not that he's complaining, mind you. This could have gone much worse.]

I'm curious as to what other kinds of worlds are out there. [ For science reasons, mostly. It would be an interesting to study the differences between worlds, especially if things are vastly different when compared with Ooo. ]

I was hoping to use the dimensional rifts myself, but it seemed inadvisable given I had no way of knowing what was on the other side. Bringing you all here was the safest alternative, and I'm hoping I'll be able to learn about your worlds through you.

So you're sayin' you used us as the test subjects! Guess we're lucky it worked..

[That's kind of a harsh way of putting it, but he's not upset. This is a very interesting experiment she's put together.]

[ She smiles at Ales, not really contradicting the first part, because really, it was true. They had basically been test subjects for the experiment, not that she had thought anything would go wrong. She just hadn't want to end up somewhere she couldn't get back from. ] Wonderful! I really appreciate this, it will be a great help to my research.

[ Then she turns to Dale with a nod. ]

Of course. I wouldn't have brought you all here if I wasn't able to send you back. As for sending you elsewhere, well, it would take a little doing, but I could certainly give it a try.

[Yes! Thanks to a bit of luck and breaking the laws of space and time, it looked like things were finally getting resolved for old Coops.]

[The boy pauses, frowning. So that must mean she already has a way home set up for them. That would put anyone else at ease, but Dipper's still skeptical. He folds his arms and glances back up at the Princess, continuing.]

....So uuuh....who are you, exactly?

I am Princess Bubblegum, ruler of the Candy Kingdom. [ There's a big, sweeping gesture at the second part, to indicate that the Candy kingdom is where they all are. ]

[Ok, so Dipper's suspicions have been confirmed, after seeing the Princess and Peppermint Butler up close, as well as taking a moment to get a better look at everything around him.

Man, he's never going to be able to get Mabel home from this place. Speaking of Mabel, he hasn't seen her since they ended up here, so he can only hope she didn't wander off in a candy induced daze.]

Wow, so...so you mean to tell me this entire Kingdom is actually made out of candy?

[ She can't help but laugh just a little. Not to be mean, but it's been a long while since someone reacted like that. ]

Yes, everything here is made out of candy. But please, try not to eat any of my citizens. They might look delicious, but they are still people. [ They have aspirations, yo. ]

[Oh geeze, no worries there. ...Though he'll have to remember to tell Mabel that.]

Well I gotta say, this is pretty amazing.

[And as long as they can get home....maaybe he can afford to explore. Just a little.

So then, Princess Bubblegum, if bringing all of us here was your intention it looks like your experiment was a success! Though ahh...you know, just so we're on the same page...you're absolutely sure you'll be able to send us home after this, right?

Of course! I'll need to make a few adjustments to the bubble creator for your return trip, but I wouldn't have brought you here if I wasn't able to send you all home.

[Man does Dipper wish he had a notebook and something to write with right about now.]

Do you think you could tell me a little bit more about this place? ...This world, even?

Certainly! Is there anything in particular you would like me to explain? [ Because boy oh boy there is a lot of stuff she could tell him. ] If not, I can just give you a basic rundown of Ooo and the different places and people here.

Umm...I think a basic rundown would be a good place to start, yeah.

[Ooo, huh? What a strange name...then again, he's heard stranger.]

Alright. Then give me one moment and I'll tell you what I can. [ She moves from the room, returning a short time later with a map similar to this one, and hangs it on the wall with some tape. ]

Alright, so this is Ooo. It's a continent divided into many different Kingdoms, each of which is very different from the other. For example, only the Candy Kingdom is made of Candy, and as soon as you near our border, things very noticeably change.

[With his interest immediately peaked, Dipper steps closer to the wall to get a better look at the map. What he wouldn't give for a camera, or a notepad and a pen to copy the map down with. Not that he figures he'll ever really need it....but it would be nice to have some sort of legitimate proof that he was here at one point.

He leans in close to read off some of the Kingdoms he can see at a glance.]

Candy Kingdom, Ice Kingdom, Fire Kingdom...

[A continent, huh? It's definitely a lot more spread out than he imagined, but if Ooo is just a continent, then what makes up the rest of the world..?

He turns from the map to look back up at the Princess, his arms folded across his chest.]

So how big is this Kingdom then, exactly?

[... well, look who looks disappointed out on the edge of the crowd.]
